UniMAP Esports Club History, Event Highlights and Achievements

 

🎮 History

The announcement of the esports titles to compete as medal events at Southeast Asia Games 2019 for the first time in its 60 years history had giving inspiration for the establishment of UniMAP Esports Club. Therefore it was officially registered and created under Pusat Pembangunan and Perkhidmatan Pelajar (P3P) UniMAP (formally known as JHEPA) in April 2019.

🏆 Event Highlights and Achievements (since establishment to November 2020)

Over the past 2 years, UniMAP esports club has successfully developed the esports scene in UniMAP and has made notable achievements in varsity esports:

📌 Year 2019

- We Care Charity Program, Level: National, Role: Co-organiser, in collaboration with Junior Chamber International (JCI) Kulim (main organiser) and Fairyland Cos Ventures (event partner)

- MASUM Esports Championship (MEC) 2019, Level: National, Game Title: MLBB, Result: Final Stage Top 7

- The Gameplan Intercollege Cyber Challenge (ICC) Mobile Legends 2019, Level: National, Role: Co-organiser, Result: 1st Runner-up

📌 Year 2020

- Nvidia GeForce Cup Grand Finals Pacific 2019, Level: International, Role: PR

- Yoodo Campus Esports Championship (KEK) Semester 3, Level: National, Game Title: CODM, Result: Top 8

- U Mobile Mobile Legends Campus Championship (MLCC) Season 2 - Perlis, Level: State, Team & Result: Kx Crew - Champion ; Pixy TFL - 1st Runner-up

- Kejohanan Esports Uni-League 2020 (MASUM), Level: National, Role: Team Manager, Game Title: PES, Result: Champion

📌 Year 2021

- Road To Professional (RTP), Level: National, Role: Organiser

- U Mobile Mobile Legends Campus Championship (MLCC) Season 3 - Perlis, Level: State, Team & Result: UniMAP Pixy - 1st Runner-up
